Toast with Basil Sauce, Artichokes, Cherry Tomatoes and Burrata

Ingredients :

  • Slices of farmhouse bread
  • Bornibus Basilica Sauce
  • Artichoke hearts, cut into pieces
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Burrata cheese, torn into pieces
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Recipe:

  • Preheat Grill or Oven: 
    • Preheat your grill or oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Toasting Bread Slices: 
    • Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and toast until crisp.
  • Preparing the Base: 
    • Generously spread Bornibus Basil Sauce over each slice of toasted bread.
  • Add artichokes and cherry tomatoes: 
    • Spread the artichoke pieces and cherry tomato halves evenly over the sauce.
  • Add the Burrata : 
    • Place pieces of burrata on top of the vegetables, taking care to achieve an even distribution.
  • Seasoning: 
    • Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil lightly over the toasts. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Grilling or baking: 
    • Toast under the grill or in the oven for a few minutes, just enough to warm the burrata and lightly brown the ingredients.
  • Finishing and Topping: 
    • Remove from oven and garnish toast with fresh basil leaves.

Serving:

Serve these delicious toasts immediately as an aperitif or starter.
