Toast with Fig Confit and Goat Cheese


  • Slices of farmhouse bread or baguette
  • Bornibus Fig confit
  • Fresh goat’s cheese
  • Chopped walnuts
  • Honey
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish


  • Preheat the grill:  
    • Preheat your oven to grill mode.
  • Toasting the Bread: 
    • Arrange the bread slices on a baking tray and toast lightly under the broiler until golden brown.
  • Toast assembly: 
    • On each slice of toast, generously spread a teaspoon of Bornibus fig confit.
  • Adding the Goat’s Cheese: 
    • Place a spoonful of fresh goat’s cheese on top of the Bornibus fig confit.
  • Honey and Nuts: 
    • Lightly drizzle each toast with honey for a sweet touch.
    • Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for crunch.
  • Finishing under the broiler: 
    • Pop the toast under the broiler for a few minutes, just enough to slightly melt the cheese.
  • Topping : 
    • Remove from the oven and garnish each toast with a fresh basil leaf.


Serve immediately as an aperitif or appetizer for a delicious gastronomic experience.
