Ingredients:
- 4 red meat steaks (beef, lamb, or other)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Bornibus green pepper mustard
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- Firewood (charcoal, fruit wood, etc.) for the fire
Recipe:
- Prepare the wood fire:
- Light the wood fire and let it build into embers. Make sure the embers are well established for even cooking.
- Season the Steaks:
- Season the steaks generously on both sides with salt and black pepper. Let them rest at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes to reach an even temperature.
- Bornibus Green Pepper Mustard Marinade:
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, Bornibus green pepper mustard, minced garlic and rosemary leaves. Brush the steaks with this marinade, making sure they are well coated.
- Wood-fired cooking :
- Place the steaks on the grill over the coals. Cook to your preferred doneness, turning the steaks halfway through cooking. Bornibus green pepper mustard will add a unique flavor while cooking.
- Rest and Slice:
- Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Meanwhile, the Bornibus green pepper mustard will add a delicious touch of spiciness.
